Through My Eyes

AUTHOR: Wendy Robinson

“A SLAM OF THE DOOR, THE COCKING OF HIS GUN, AND A CRY FOR HELP THAT NO ONE WOULD HEAR.

This man who called himself my father was pure evil, evidently straight from hell. The reality of our life and the only way to live it was in survival mode. I knew he never wanted us. It showed in his abuse, his threats and his constant insults. Why didn’t he just leave? Actions always speak louder than words, and the seldom sweet words he used to sneak his way back home after he was released from jail were disturbing. My father made everyone’s life a living hell which has scarred us all to this very day. Any type of domestic abuse has long-lasting =, if not permanent, negative effects on oneself. Even if we don’t realize it, it is something that should be taken very seriously. Getting help and speaking about it has tremendous positive effects on recovery. THROUGH MY EYES will reveal the secrets which were suppressed for many years, the sad facts about what really went on behind closed doors and my testimony of the life we lived.”
