Yes, there is a non resident membership rate of $40 to join.

We do not have physical addresses in Kahnawake. We are located on the main road, not far from the Kahnawake Fire Brigrade. Please call for directions should you need them or view the map at the bottom of our contact page.

The Kahnawake Library is a non-profit organization, overseen by an advisory Library Circle. We are in the process of applying for registered charitable status through the CRA, however, until we do we are unable to issue an official receipt to be used for tax purposes.

Funds raised go towards supporting a variety of operational and programming costs. The library receives little core funding, so fundraising is necessary to purchase needed equipment/software, office supplies, materials, books and other operational costs.

We welcome suggestions and recommendations. Please speak to a library staff member or feel free to send an email to us. Please make sure we have your contact information.
